Each resident who has consent to be enrolled in the eyecare program will receive a comprehensive eye health study with testing and/or treatment for glaucoma, cataracts, retinal diseases, diabetes related problems, any other ocular related conditions and a full refraction for their eyeglass prescription.
Each pair of eyeglasses provided by The Nursing Home Eyecare Group are engraved with the resident’s name for easy identification. We keep detailed records of each resident’s prescription and frame fitting making replacement, if necessary, timely and efficient. Minor eyeglass repairs are done complementary.
